liam wadmans view on teenagers.

Film stereotyping.

This is my view on stereotyping towards teenagers or young adults. I have chosen this as I am aware of other people thinking teenagers are bad people because they hang around in large groups at night. I hope you enjoy this.

Stereotypical Films Based On Teenagers

Shank:

Shank is a film based on 2015 directed by Mo Ali. It is based on a young boy,his brothers, and his brothers friends. I chose this film because there is alot of stereotyping involved and I think it is a key problem towards what people think about teenagers. In the film a young boy nicknamed Jnr,his brother and his brothers friends all go to steal a food van but bump into their rival gang. They run off because they are outnumbered by their rivals but Jnr is chased off a different way to his brother and caught by the gang. His brother came back to find him and then they stab him Jnr is very hurt so he just crawls to his brother and lays beside him crying. this film is a key example of stereotypical behavior towards young people and teenagers.

Kidulthood

kidulthood is another film based on young kids, violence and breaking laws. There are alot of films like this with alot of stereotyping towards young people.

  2. Although the example you have used is really good, its a shame you didn't get more done in the two hours we had for this task. I had hoped to see some examples from television as well as some examples from news (as the sheet asked). Next time try and complete more work in lesson time, use more examples and add in pictures to make your blog more visually interesting.
